Step 1 — Read the text and listen to it. In this step you can:
- Read the whole text at your own pace, with your eyes.
- Listen to the voice and follow the words as they light up, one by one.
- Click any underlined word to read what it means, and to see the translation.
- Move along the bar to go wherever you like, or start the sentence again while it is being said.
The voice is already recorded slowly, for level A1. If it still goes too fast, tick “Slower voice”: it slows down by another fifth.
Step 2 — Listen and repeat, one sentence at a time. In this step you can:
- Listen to the whole sentence, right to the full stop, and repeat it aloud.
- Click on a single word to hear it on its own: every word is cut cleanly, without the start of the next one.
- Record your voice and listen back — the recording is never saved.
- Move on with Next sentence, go back with Previous sentence.
- Tick Slower voice: the sentence and the single words slow down together.
The microphone is not available: read the sentence aloud yourself, then go to the next sentence.
Step 3 — Read the whole text aloud. In this step you can:
- Read along with the voice: listen and read aloud at the same time, like singing along.
- Pause, start the sentence again, or go back to the beginning.
- Record your reading and listen back — the recording is never saved.
- Tick Slower voice to follow more easily.
